MOTHER’S DAY OUT
Designed for the young preschool child age 6 -24 months, this program provides a semi-structured experience including story time, creative movement, art, and games, along with free play and some theme activities within a loving Christian group setting.
PRESCHOOL
The program is designed to enhance the emotional, developmental, and spiritual growth of the preschool child. This program offers structured learning experiences, classroom art experiences, music, creative movement and chapel, in a loving Christian classroom setting. Preschool activities include Weekly Theme Activities, Academic Activities, Centers, Circle Time, Creative Movement, Art Experiences, Music, Outdoor Fun, Sharing Time, Story Time, Quiet Time, Bible Time, Free Play, Field Trips, and Special Guests.
KINDERGARTEN
hen it gets to the heart of the matter, what do you really want for your child? At Horizon Christian School, our goal is to educate children so that they may grow and mature into perceptive caring Christians who become servants of our Lord and Savior. We are proud of our academic program as well as our caring and qualified faculty.
The most important key to achieving our mission are our dedicated teachers, who on a daily basis bring a Christian perspective to their teaching. At all levels and in all classes it is our desire to teach and learn from a Christian paradigm. Every teacher, while unique in personality and teaching expertise, is a Christian dedicated to the goals of Christian education.
SUMMER & HOLIDAY CARE
M-F, 7AM-6PM. Summer and Holiday sessions are less academically structured than the regular school program. Each camp week is based on a summertime or holiday theme. Programs are brought into the school to maximize fun and learning. Children spend more time outside playing games and socializing with friends. Summer activities include water so don’t forget the bathing suits!

HOW TO APPLY
Application forms may be obtained from the school office or on our download page. Fill out the application form, attach the required fee and records and return it to the office or Director. All classes will be filled on a first-registered, first-space available basis. No spaces will be assigned without a paid application and all required documentation on file.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
The state of Georgia requires immunization from #3231 must be on file, in the school office, for all children attending any school program. Kindergarten Students are required to have form #3300 on file as well. These documents must be submitted prior to the first day of attendance and can be obtained from your child’s doctor or faxed to the school at 404-806-4860.
LUNCH
A daily lunch program is available to all students; it includes entrée, two side dishes, drink and dessert. A lunch calendar is sent home each month with a fee envelope.
Students may bring a bag lunch to school each day. Lunch should include a drink and be made up of already prepared foods that are easy to consume and clean up. Occasionally, notification will be sent of hot lunch opportunities that parents may wish to have their child participate in.

All fees are non-refundable and are to be submitted at the time of application. Tuition fees are due the first of each month. May tuition is collected in advance and is refundable with 30 day written notice of withdrawal. Before and After Care Payments are due on the first day of each week.
